National Institute of Design (NID), an internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary design institute of the country, is pleased to announce a Design workshop on “Designing with Crafts” from 23 – 25 January, 2013  at NID campus, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The Industry Programmes & Projects at NID integrates design knowledge and education with the varied segments of industry, commerce, and service sectors. The key focus of this programme is to develop innovative products through the ideas and resources drawn in from the Indian crafts heritage.  Experience sharing on proven design strategies for business and entrepreneurship will be a unique feature of this workshop. The participants will gain ample insights and perspectives on ways to develop design strategies dealing with the local value systems along with the global and economic scenarios.
These focused design workshops are conducted at the lush-green NID Ahmedabad campus, by experienced faculty and other distinguished design professionals and experts.
